Follow Marie Laurencin’s rise to success and fame in Paris in the 1920s
Marie Laurencin, a painter who was active in the first half of the 20th century, studied at the Academy in Paris, never stopped painting during World Wars I and II, and continued to work tirelessly until her death in 1956 at the age of 72. I continued to do so. She explores her hidden charms by comparing her painting work, which strongly reflects the mood of the turbulent times in which she lived, with the works of her related artists.
CHECK!
Marie Laurencin was born in the same year as Coco Chanel. Her paintings not only have pastel tones and graceful forms, but also have a great sense of fashion. If you love fashion, be sure to pay attention to this!

Introducing the international spread of Impressionism. Focusing on the collection of the Worcester Museum of Art, located near Boston, USA, this exhibition traces the reception and development of French Impressionism such as Monet and Renoir, as well as Impressionism from abroad, including the United States, from the eve of the birth of Impressionism. Be excited by the wonders of American Impressionism, which bloomed across the ocean.

Monet’s famous “Water Lilies” will also be on view. Also includes works by Hassam and Cassatt, who led the American Impressionist movement. A rare event that fully introduces Matisse’s beloved method “kirigami-e”
Matisse’s works captivate people with their sophisticated forms. In recent years, Korean miscellaneous goods have caught on, and there is a resurgence in popularity among the younger generation! In his later years, Matisse developed the technique of “kirigami-e”, in which colored paper is cut out with scissors and pasted onto the paper. This is an extremely valuable exhibit that collects approximately 150 works, mainly works created using this technique at the height of his career.
CHECK!
“Flowers and Fruits,” one of the largest paper-cut works, will be exhibited for the first time in Japan. I was overwhelmed by this masterpiece measuring approximately 4m x 8m! There is also a reproduction of the Vence chapel designed by Matisse. You can also feel like traveling.
