[シドニー 4日 ロイター] – Australia and New Zealand Bank (ANZ) and job information site Indeed announced on the 4th that the number of Australian job advertisements in November decreased by 4.6% compared to the previous month, the largest decline since August 2021. There are new indications that the tight labor market may be easing due to slowing demand due to high interest rates.

Although the decline was 16.8% compared to the previous year, it was still 36.7% above the pre-coronavirus outbreak level.

ANZ economist Madeleine Dunk said, “The decline in job openings indicates that the unemployment rate will rise further in the future as the overheating of the labor market eases.'' “We expect it to decrease as it becomes more effective,” he said.
