CyberAgent establishes entertainment headquarters to provide one-stop production, promotion, and advertising – CNET Japan
CyberAgent announced on October 10th that it will establish a new entertainment headquarters specializing in entertainment entertainment and enter the entertainment business in earnest.
The company used to provide entertainment services such as ABEMA, but in recent years it has been increasingly holding events as part of these services.
In July 2023, ABEMA will hold its first Tokyo Dome performance, “Creator Dream Fes ~produced by Com.~”. In addition to recording approximately 40,000 visitors, many people also watched the broadcast on “ABEMA PPV ONLINE LIVE.” In addition, CyberZ, a subsidiary of the company, has been holding Japan’s largest e-sports event “RAGE” since 2016. CyberFight, a professional wrestling company, holds performances in various genres, such as holding Keiji Muto’s retirement match “chocoZAP presents KEIJI MUTO GRAND FINAL PRO-WRESTLING ‘LAST’ LOVE ~HOLD OUT~” at the Tokyo Dome tournament.
Against this background, the company decided to establish a new entertainment headquarters as a specialized organization specializing in entertainment entertainment within the group. Shingo Otomo, who is the general producer of “Creator Dream Fes ~produced by Com.~” and the e-sports event “RAGE,” will be appointed as the general manager.
With this, the company will make a full-scale entry into the entertainment business, providing a one-stop service for production, promotion, and advertising centered on ABEMA.
