“Forbes JAPAN WOMEN AWARD 2022” is Japan’s largest women’s award hosted by “Forbes JAPAN”, a media for global business leaders. It was launched in 2016 as an award to honor companies that are producing female leaders and professionals one after another, and women who open up their own paths and work in their own way. In addition to the global perspective of Forbes JAPAN, which features numerous leaders in Japan and overseas, this award is based on a survey of HR managers, HR managers, D&I promotion managers, D&I promotion managers, and employees of domestic companies. Then, the winning companies and winners are determined based on the results of the survey and the examination of the councilors.

・ Corporate category overall ranking 5th place in the 1001 employees category
・Ranking the degree of realization of active participation by female employees 1st place in the 1,001-employee category

・Top Management Execution Ability Ranking No. 1 in the 1,001-employee division

P&G, which advocates “Equal Opportunity and Inclusive World (E&I)” as part of its management strategy, has three pillars of “Culture”, “Institutions” and “Skills”. Based on this, we are working to promote the active participation of women, promote inclusion, and create an organization where each and every diverse employee can demonstrate their full potential. Many employees feel that there is little gender gap in the workplace, and the fact that many female employees work with a sense of satisfaction, such as the participation of women in management, was highly evaluated.
In 2016, P&G launched the P&G Diversity & Inclusion Awareness Project, an external enlightenment organization, in order to widely provide society with the know-how of inclusion promotion that we have cultivated over nearly 30 years. We have provided know-how to more than 700 companies so far, along with lectures to other companies, centering on the free provision of the “Inclusion Training Program” for managers, which was originally developed in-house.

In addition, from September 2022, we will support both male and female employees who take childcare leave due to childbirth and childcare so that they can take childcare leave with peace of mind and resume their careers smoothly when returning to work. ]We have started a new program. We will change the mindset of all employees in order to support taking childcare leave and returning to work as part of the company culture.

In the future, we will continue to create an organization where each and every one of our diverse employees can make the most of their abilities, and through the activities of our enlightenment project, we will continue to work toward the realization of equal opportunities and an inclusive world (Equality & Inclusion = E&I) in Japanese society. We will work to promote it.
