New York’s popular Italian restaurant “Scarpetta” opens in Toranomon in October – WWDJAPAN

Mori Trust Hotel & Resorts will open the first Japanese branch of the popular Italian restaurant “SCARPETTA” in New York on October 3rd in the complex facility “Tokyo World Gate” in Toranomon, Tokyo.

Scarpetta opened in New York’s Meatpacking District in 2008. The elegant service in an unpretentious atmosphere has earned a reputation and it has become a popular restaurant. The signboard menu is tomato basil spaghetti. Currently, it operates 5 stores in the US and 1 store in the UK, and is a social gathering place for celebrities and business people.

Tokyo World Gate, where Scarpetta is located, is surrounded by office buildings, the luxury hotel “Tokyo Edition Toranomon”, residences for foreigners, etc., and is expected to attract an international customer base. It has 157 seats in 358 square meters.
