Nidec to file lawsuit against Toyo Keizai Inc. Alleging defamation | Reuters

TOKYO (Reuters) – Nidec said on Thursday it will sue Toyo Keizai Inc. and others for defamation of its reputation by a false article. They are demanding compensation for damages, deletion of articles, and posting of apology advertisements.

Toyo Keizai Online reported earlier this month that there was suspicion that Nidec’s stock repurchase was being handled improperly.
