The Shiseido Gallery will hold a series of special exhibitions that introduce some of the creative works that Shiseido has created over time.

The first exhibition will be held from June 6 (Tue) to July 30 (Sun), 2023, focusing on Shiseido’s creative work in the 1970s. “It will be held. In this exhibition, about 150 magazine advertisements such as Shiseido’s representative brands “Siphonette” and “Natural Glow” in the 1970s, men’s cosmetics “MG5”, “Brabus”, and perfume “More” will be displayed in graphics and video. , by combining the visual images seen in these advertisements and the words (copy) attached to them, the gaps and blanks “in between” create an enchanting space that stirs the imagination of the viewer.

At the venue, visual images and copies will be exhibited through images and actual objects, and in addition to the graphic designer/artist Yudai Osawa, who is also a member of the ambient unit “UNKNOWN ME”, which is attracting attention these days, and the producer/architect H.Takahashi, A video and sound installation by visual artist Yasushi Harada will also appear. Together with contemporary ambient music, Shiseido’s creative work in the 1970s will be dynamically presented to bring new surprises and discoveries.
